Isn’t it naive that people of Punjab are destroying public property in India in protest for some thing that happened thousands of miles away in Austria?
The common man does not have the time or the inclination to engage in such senseless acts. The way in which the violence spread to so many cities in such a short time indicated involvement of political organizations.
The incident in Vienna has also brought to the surface the divide amongst the Sikh community. The shoot out has nothing to do with religious differences but is about control over crores of rupees donated by devotees.

Akaalis defeated in the elections wanted a reason to show the anger and this is done by their elements. People don't have time and energy to take part in the protests.

In India Congress and BSP use caste to divide population and get votes. Unfortunately Congress won the election and now again caste based politics will increase at the cost of National Unity. Indian Voter should reject these caste based politics and reservations. Till then discrimination will continue. When Constitution says all are equal there is no necessity for caste propagation.

This is just disgusting. Somebody killed somebody in some other place on the earth and we are stupid enough for destroying our country without any reason. When will we get some common sense that burning the buses and buildings are not a way to protest it is just destroying our Indian property.

In today’s world, why are we fighting with each other on the ground of religion and caste? Religion means way of living life. Why some one want to become GOD and some one have think that he has right to kill some one. In our country people of all religion are living together. Every one has right to practice own religion. If any one feel hurt due to activity of some one then best option is go to court not to come on street and do the violent act. We should avoid this thing. We all should think that how to develop together, how to solve real issues not these issues.

These are the types who are seen by foreigners as Indians. What a shame I feel that I am an Indian citizen like them. The Vienna crime could have been dealt with by the Sikhs/India in a civilized way by asking the Austrian Govt. to punish the guilty and ensure that such incidents did not recur.

Sikhs, though deeply religious are generally a tolerant and peace-loving community. They are modern in outlook and progressive in social reforms. But nowadays they are aping the Muslims in all spheres of human relations. So even wearing a turban has become a symbol of aggressive Sikhism. I request the Sikh community to return to their age-old tolerance and love for peace and stop becoming like Muslims.

You rightly said that shoot out has nothing to do with the religious sentiments and it was for the control over the assets worth crores of rupees. Who will tell these mad men that it is all a game for money.

Isn’t that what religion is about? A few men at the top using religion to gain power and control over large groups of people? Those at the top of every religion live like kings, they have ultimate power over huge amounts of people and resources. I am not about to donate a single penny for some man to have 24k gold toilet seats or a Rolls Royce. And, I am certainly not going to donate money so people can buy guns to kill other human beings with, that is just insane!!! I don’t have any choice about paying my taxes that go for enough evil purposes, but I can chose NOT to donate to the intolerant, violent, and oppressive religious machines of the world.
